The PositionOur bank client is seeking to fill a Remote Temporary Credit Analyst role. The successful candidate will process daily credit transactions according to policies and procedures, and maintain records and files on all credit transactions, including correspondence and documents.
This position offers a generous hourly rate of up to $40/hr. (This is a remote position).
Credit AnalystResponsibilities include:
- Performing in-depth financial analysis, including spreading and analyzing financial statements.
- Gathering data on prospective and active borrowing accounts, such as financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and investigation sheets.
- Analyzing data to evaluate the short- and long-term prospects of individuals or companies.
- Making recommendations regarding loan approvals or denials.
- Preparing documentation to support recommendations, especially in lending functions.
- Suggesting loan grades after thorough credit analysis and documentation review.
- Ensuring all credit analysis activities comply with lending policies.
- Providing detailed documentation of financial analysis, including ratios, cash flow, and collateral assessments.
- Accompanying Commercial Lenders to customer meetings when needed.
- Providing leadership, training, and guidance to other credit analysts.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred; specialized financial analysis training is a plus.
- At least five years of experience as a Credit Analyst.
- Experience preparing credit presentations.
- Ability to manage and track annual credit reviews.
- Thorough knowledge of current lending, loan review regulations, and banking procedures.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial statements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing software, and experience working in a digital office environment.
