Join our Equities Derivatives and Trading team as a highly skilled and motivated sales professional in our Hong Kong or Singapore office. This role requires a dynamic individual with deep expertise in equity finance, equity derivatives, distribution, and client relationship management. As an Equity Finance sales professional, you act as a bridge between Macquarie’s capital markets business and clients, enabling seamless collaboration, structured distribution, and technical feedback loops.
You will focus on delivering a full spectrum of services, including mapping, pitching, incubation, and product delivery, to meet the evolving needs of our buyside clients.
In this role, you will primarily drive the sales of equity swaps while also assisting with the distribution of securities lending, margin lending, collar financing, and other structured products. You will identify and map opportunities across the buy‑side, develop and maintain strong relationships, assess market trends, and deliver actionable insights. You will pitch tailored solutions and share product expertise with buy‑side clients across their treasury/portfolio finance, trading, COO and technology teams.
Additionally, you will build and nurture strategic relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating closely with product and trading teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with client objectives.
- 8+ years’ experience with proven track record in equity finance and derivatives buy‑side sales, as well as broad product expertise across equity swaps, stock loan and borrow, margin lending solutions, collar financing, and structured products
- Deep understanding of swap margining, trade execution, securities financing, market structure, and client portfolio dynamics
- Established network and strong relationships with buy‑side clients, along with the ability to collaborate with trading and operations teams across capital markets
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to evaluate market trends and client requirements
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to close deals and foster long‑term relationships.
