Loan Officer - Remote | WFH

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team, serving residents in the following areas:
Orlando, Palm Coast, St. Augustine, Palatka, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Deland, Jacksonville, FL, and Kingsland, GA.Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct interviews with residential mortgage loan applicants.

Gather necessary information to complete loan applications.

Notify applicants about loan decisions in a timely and clear manner.

Work with customers, applicants, and creditors to address any questions or issues regarding application details.

Advise applicants on loan options and recommend loan terms that best suit their needs.

Communicate loan commitments to prospective borrowers.

Stay up-to-date with current laws and regulations affecting mortgage and installment loan agreements.

Support the collection team in managing delinquent accounts, ensuring smooth operations.

Help drive the growth of high-quality loans, contributing to the company’s success.

Provide exceptional service by offering innovative solutions and helping clients through the loan process.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not mandatory.

Solid understanding of financial institutions, products, and services.

Strong organizational, communication, and cross-selling skills.

Comfortable and confident in working with builders and realtors.

Ability to manage time effectively and maintain great attention to detail under pressure.

Must have an active NMLS number to originate residential mortgage loans (or be willing to obtain one).Extended sitting and computer use may be required.
