Financial Advisor – First Command

First Command Financial Advisors coach military families in their pursuit of financial security. We embrace time‑tested financial principles and a client‑first philosophy to inspire and motivate clients to take the first or next step on the path to financial security.

• Act as a personal coach to military families, focusing on a financial plan that evolves to meet short‑term and long‑term goals.
• Help families manage day‑to‑day finances, build lifetime assets, and protect against the unexpected.
• Engage with the community to bring new clients to First Command, supported by the local district team and Home Office.
• Partner with local military organizations, units, and other supporting institutions to provide direct service to the military community.
• Coach families on a comprehensive financial plan, including:
• Savings and banking
• Investments and wealth management
• Insurance and risk management

• Specialized licensing and comprehensive training program designed for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
• Sponsorship of full registration and licensing, and tools to guide the process.
• Preparation and testing for SIE, state and life & health licenses.
• Paid training program with a local district office.
• Compensation structure: hourly wage for 3 months (minimum wage in the state), transition to salaried position with progressive incentives during the 9‑month paid training period.
