This is a full-time remote position for the role of Controller at Phenix Salon Suites. The Controller will oversee financial operations, including managing budgets, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial planning and analysis. Additional responsibilities include overseeing accounting processes, leading audits, and implementing improvements to financial systems. The role will liaise with executive management to provide strategic financial guidance and ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records.

• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation
• Knowledge of compliance, accounting standards, and audit processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
• Prior experience in the salon, franchise, or service industry is an asset
