We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team. The position is remote, but the candidate must be able to travel to Norfolk, VA, and the DC Metro area regularly.
As a Finance Manager, you will lead and manage multiple indirect budgets, act as a business partner to achieve financial goals, and provide leadership and strategic guidance to the business area. Reporting to a Finance Director, you will ensure contractual compliance, cost management, and budget development for US government contracts. A strong understanding of Government Contracting and experience with government financial project support are essential.
You will oversee performance, training, recruiting, and assessment of financial staff, mentoring staff, and ensuring deadlines are met. You will also oversee the timely and accurate submission of financial reports including revenue, EBITDA, and cash.
Key responsibilities include:
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related fields, 7+ years of management experience, knowledge of US GAAP, strong government contracting finance experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Travel may be required. Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, Hyperion, and Smart View is preferred.
