Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

UP to lead our financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis efforts. This role reports to the CFO and partners with cross‑functional leaders to deliver insights that inform decision‑making across the business.
- Own the financial planning cycle, including annual budgets, quarterly re‑forecasts, and long‑term plan.
- Partner closely with the CFO to deliver analysis and insights that support company performance and growth.
- Prepare and contribute to financial materials for executive leadership, board meetings, and investor discussions.
- Support finance‑related work streams for future fundraisings and potential acquisitions.
- Collaborate with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and People to align financial plans with business objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support for major initiatives such as new market entry, pricing, and product development.
- Identify and support process improvements that drive net revenue, repeat business, and EBITDA.
- Support automation initiatives, including leveraging AI and BI tools.
- Scale the FP&A function, supporting best practices and operational excellence.

UP’s financial model. - Own the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting and KPI dashboards for leadership.
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue trends, cost drivers, and profitability metrics, to identify risks and opportunities.
- Surface material insights and support recommendations for corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top academic institution; preference for Finance, Economics, or a quantitative field.
- 2 years pre‑MBA or post‑MBA experience in investment banking (M&A or industry coverage) or management consulting with meaningful project experience.
- 1–3+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, preferably at high‑growth, venture‑backed or PE‑backed companies.
- Expert experience in financial modeling, budget planning, and driving to completion investor‑grade presentations.
- Experience influencing C‑suite and board‑level stakeholders.

$160,000 USD – $175,000 USD
