Experienced Tax Professional - Remote at H&R Block. Join to apply for this remote role and provide tax services to clients with diverse needs, supported by a team of experts and comprehensive training.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients via virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Support do-it-yourself online tax clients and assist with tax preparation through digital channels.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Communicate and coordinate regularly with leaders and peers about how remote work impacts results.
• Grow tax expertise and stay current with tax laws and best practices.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred).
• Experience completing complex tax returns.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and providing audit support as needed.
• Tax planning experience and/or audit support experience.
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus.
• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ongoing continuing education and IRS/state requirements must be met.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet and ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season.

• Ability to interview clients and support online tax clients through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain complex tax situations clearly.
• Team-oriented mindset with effective communication across remote teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities and proficiency with relevant tools (MS Teams, Outlook).

The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs.

Pay range: $11.00 - $80.00 per hour.
