- If you are a highly motivated qualified tax adviser/accountant (ATT, CTA or ACA/ACCA) with experience of working in personal tax, we’d love to hear from you.
- Ensure the delivery of a high‑quality personal tax service to our clients.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of complex clients and provide personal tax advice on assignments including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax, international tax matters, identifying opportunities to advise clients on related taxes.
- Provide original and creative thinking to solve tax problems, frequently delivering bespoke tax advice and solutions to one‑off assignments.
- Project‑manage tax advisory assignments to ensure deadlines, risk management and compliance procedures are met.
- Manage work in progress and ensure prompt billing and cash collection.
- Oversee the performance and career development of partly and newly qualified staff.
- Qualified accountant or tax adviser with experience in a personal‑tax‑focused environment and exposure to a varied client base.
- Strong academic results and a keen, insightful understanding of issues facing private clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions that meet client needs.
- Team‑player with initiative and a commitment to clients, colleagues and KPMG.
- High level of analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice.
We are open to talent across the country but the core hub for this role is Birmingham. The position will largely be based from Birmingham, with 20 sites across the UK enabling office work, working from home, flexible hours and part‑time options.
