The job will require a diverse skill set. Main responsibilities include:
- Support Senior Asset Managers in the day-to-day management of assets, providing structured analysis and insights across financial, operational, and strategic topics.
- Prepare and maintain financial models, including cash-flow projections, lease analyses, and Cap Ex projects using Forbury and Excel.
- Conducting detailed industry, market, and tenant research to support asset strategies and prepare investment memoranda.
- Strategic asset analysis (incl. hold/sell analysis) and pro‑active preparation of value‑add strategies.
- Prepare asset level reporting, including regular executive summaries, reforecasts, liquidity forecasts, and general updates for strategic purposes.
- Support/lead lease negotiations and conduct Net Effective Rent analysis
- Proactively review governing documents – partnership agreements, loans, leases, etc. and monitor compliance and potential risks.
- Coordinate with external advisors, operating partners, and internal teams to ensure successful operation and execution at the asset‑level.
- Support the preparation of Investment Committee presentations and investor presentations.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field of study from an accredited institution. Alternatively, any combination of education, training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. - Work Experience:
Minimum five years of experience in real estate management or finance. - Language Proficiency:
Exceptional written and verbal communication in German and English. - Skills:
- Strong financial modelling skills with meticulous attention to detail/accuracy with numbers.
- Experience with real estate fundamentals; valuations experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex, abstract messages in a simple, clear manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to collaborate at all levels of seniority.
- First leadership experience is a plus.
