Financial Controller - FULLY REMOTE - Investment Management

A high-growth, technology-driven crypto hedge fund is seeking an mid-level Financial Controller to strengthen its finance function. The firm operates systematic and quantitative trading strategies across digital asset markets and is entering its next phase of institutional growth.

This is a hands‑on role offering broad responsibility across financial control, reporting, and oversight
, working closely with senior management and external service providers.

• Own the month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare and review management accounts
  , financial statements, and board‑level reporting
• Manage reconciliations across crypto wallets, exchanges, custodians, and banks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory reporting requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain financial controls and processes
• Support senior management with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Identify opportunities to improve automation and operational efficiency

• 5+ years’ experience in financial control or accounting
• Fully or part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong background in financial reporting and controls
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting systems required
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
• Interest in crypto, digital assets, or alternative investments (direct crypto experience not essential)

• Experience with in hedge funds, asset management, or alternative investments
• Exposure to fund accounting and NAV oversight
• Understanding of digital assets, blockchain, or crypto market infrastructure
