Job OverviewAs a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you will develop and grow your own practice supported by branch associates, a home‑office team, and regional financial advisors. You’ll benefit from a firm built on more than 100 years of history and a branch‑team business model where one financial advisor and one branch office administrator focus on building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (e.g., residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
- Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies.
- Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
- Create a highly engaging environment in the branch of mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
- Complete ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain registrations and licenses in good standing.
- Utilize a firm‑provided branch office in the community to support client work.
- Work with a client support team that assists with administrative tasks, freeing you to focus on client relationships.
- Participate in a support network that extends from the local client support team to the region and home office.

- Experience in financial services with clients, in‑depth knowledge of investment products, and a track record of success.
- State insurance licenses preferred.
- Preferred additional professional designations such as CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CRPC™, or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™.
- Strong communication skills, self‑starter, love of learning, strong relationship‑building ability, adaptability, critical thinking, and passion for new opportunities.
