Base pay range$83,295.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Duties & ResponsibilitiesPurpose of Position:
Under direct supervision, performs operational and financial audits to improve the effectiveness of risk management, internal control, and governance processes within HHC. There are two (2) assignment levels within this class of positions; all personnel perform related work.
Examples Of Typical Tasks- Performs specific audit procedures or tasks as assigned and/or directed.
- Prepares work papers and communicates audit findings to appropriate personnel; supports supervising auditor in completion of assigned responsibilities.
- Conducts interviews with client personnel to assist in the evaluation of internal controls.
- Executes and completes audit fieldwork according to established procedures; documents internal controls.
- Recommends internal control process improvements as necessary and/or appropriate.
- Travels to HCC facilities and other locations as assigned and/or necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned and/or directed.
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field of study.
Department Preferences- Preferred one to two years of satisfactory experience in internal auditing, accounting, finance and/or public accounting.
