US Seasonal Tax‑Private Tax‑Manager – EY
Location:
Anywhere in the United States – Remote. No travel required.
In this role you will work remotely from within the United States to support private client individuals, partnerships, and S‑Corporations. You will review complex individual tax returns, deliver income‑tax planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and families, and manage partnership and S‑Corp tax compliance. You will also serve as a key point of contact for clients and colleagues while working within a global team.
Key Responsibilities- Review and reconcile complex individual tax returns.
- Provide income‑tax planning for high‑net‑worth individuals and families.
- Ensure compliance for private client partnerships and S‑Corporations.
- Communicate key client updates and deliverables to the team.
- Participate in remote virtual meetings and facilitate client discussions.
- Strategic prioritization across multiple complex projects.
- Influencing skills with confidence to challenge existing processes.
- Ability to produce clear technical writing and research in tax contexts.
- High‑quality review of complex tax returns.
- Experience with high‑net‑worth and individual tax returns, or complex partnership compliance.
- Familiarity with federal and state personal and trust income tax.
- Comprehensive understanding of estate and wealth planning.
- Proficiency in researching tax issues to develop effective planning strategies and translate data into client‑ready insights.
- Comfort with remote work in a virtual team environment.
- Valid US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active state bar membership.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in tax compliance for private client individuals, partnerships, and/or S‑Corporations.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Proven record of excellence in tax accounting for financial statements with a top or mid‑tier firm.
- Hourly rate ranging from $90/hr to $120/hr based on experience and qualifications.
