What you will do

As a financial advisor with Edward Jones, you’ll develop and grow your own practice, supported by your branch team, a home-office team, and other regional financial advisors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build relationships to acquire new clients via face-to-face and virtual sourcing (residential, business, networking, referrals, social media, speaking engagements).
  • Understand clients’ needs and priorities to create personalized strategies that help them achieve their goals.
  • Oversee branch processes to ensure a high-quality client experience aligned with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
  • Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and results.
  • Create a work environment built on mutual trust, respect, feedback and accountability.

Skills/Requirements

Candidates should have at least one of the four qualifications listed:

  • A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or equivalent work-related experience in securities/financial services
  • Financial services and/or sales experience
  • Financial services registration, licensing, or certification
