Remote opportunity to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team with advanced tax training.

• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support online tax clients through virtual tools (e.g., video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to communicate how remote work impacts results.
• Grow your tax expertise and stay informed about tax developments.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex tax returns
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews that build client confidence
• Tax planning and audit support experience
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• Experience completing individual tax returns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Access to high speed, reliable internet
• Experience with technology, specifically MS Teams and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate complex tax situations via phone, email and chat
• Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment2 or equivalent
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season
• Ability to research information using tax publications and resources
