** Senior Actuary, Annuities Valuation
** to lead a small team within our Variable Annuity (VA) business. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and contribute to a key product line within our organization.

** Lead and mentor a team of actuarial professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.
* ** Variable Annuity Expertise:
** Focus on our largest earning segment, the variable annuity line of business, including RILA products.
* ** Technical

Skills:

** Utilize technical skills and actuarial expertise to contribute to valuation requirements, documentation, and reporting.
* FSA designation required.
* 6+ years of actuarial experience.
* Experience with annuity products or valuation.
* Management experience preferred.
* Strong technical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* This role can be fully remote.
* This position will be staffed at the internal H5 pay band or lower depending on the qualifications of the candidate.
* Provides strategic direction and knowledge for the compilation, categorization and analysis of data and financial reporting and analysis.
* Constructs sophisticated testing tools and analyzes product calculations.
* Leads, provides expertise and builds strategies for pricing and implementation of products.
* Constructs, maintains and completes Actuarial, Projection & Valuation Models.
* Analyzes risks and reinsurance for lines of business.
* Establishes reserves and other valuation items under multiple accounting regimes (statutory, GAAP and tax) for products.
* Builds cohesive presentations, communication strategies and recommendations of actuarial findings that are suitable for technical and non-technical audiences at the OCFO leadership level.
