Retirement Plan Consultant

We’re seeking a detail‑oriented Retirement Plan Consultant to manage and ensure compliance for our clients' defined contribution retirement plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plan administration, knowledge of regulations, and excellent organizational skills.

• Oversee daily operations of 401(k), 403(b), and profit‑sharing plans.
• Process contributions, distributions, loans, and withdrawals accurately and on time.
• Conduct annual compliance testing (e.g., ADP/ACP, top‑heavy, 402(g) limits).
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 filings and ensure ERISA/IRS compliance.
• Calculate employer contributions, vesting, and matching per plan documents.
• Maintain accurate records and participant data.
• Communicate with participants to answer inquiries and support retirement planning.
• Stay updated on retirement plan regulations and trends to advise clients.

• Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) or similar certification (preferred).
• 2+ years’ experience in defined contribution plan administration.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
