Investment Research Analyst (Remote | $90–$200/hr)

Mercor is recruiting Financial and Investment Analysts to collaborate on an innovative research initiative with one of the world’s top AI companies

In this role, you’ll use your finance expertise to design, review, and evaluate domain-specific questions that reflect the analytical reasoning, valuation methods, and modeling practices used by investment professionals. Your insights will help train AI systems to understand and replicate the complex workflows and decision-making processes used in financial analysis, portfolio evaluation, and market research.

This is a remote, part-time, and fully asynchronous opportunity that allows you to contribute your expertise on your own schedule while earning highly competitive compensation.

• Develop and review profession-specific tasks and questions related to financial modeling, equity research, portfolio analysis, and investment strategy.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, completeness, and professional quality

• Provide structured feedback that aligns with industry standards and best practices in finance and investment analysis.
• Contribute insights on market valuation techniques, performance metrics, and investment risk assessment

• Work independently while ensuring quality and consistency in task execution.

• 4+ years of full-time professional experience as a Financial Analyst
  , Investment Analyst
  , or equivalent role.
• Based in the United States
  , United Kingdom
  , or Canada
  .
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, valuation, portfolio management, and reporting
  .
• Excellent written communication and analytical reasoning skills.
• Must have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
• Comfortable working asynchronously and independently.
