• Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email).
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Collaborate with leaders and peers to coordinate remote work and communicate how it impacts results.
• Grow tax expertise and stay current with tax regulations and client needs.

• Experience completing individual tax returns.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Access to high-speed, reliable internet.
• Experience with technology (specifically MS Teams and Outlook).
• Ability to communicate complex tax situations concisely via phone, email and chat to inspire confidence in clients.
• Strong customer service skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week during peak tax season.
• Tax planning and audit support experience and experience with virtual tax interviews.

• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex tax returns.
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax (5+ years).
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Ability to research information using various tax publications and resources.
