Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and experienced Game Designer to join the World of Warcraft Classic team. As a designer on our team, you will be implementing and collaborating across disciplines to bring systems, features, and updates to WoW Classic through iteration, thoughtfulness, cooperation, and feedback.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in game design, a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis, outstanding people skills, boundless creativity, a strong visual aesthetic, and a passion for playing and analyzing games.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The home studio for this role is in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Work together with team members to design, implement, and tune systems and features in WoW Classic experiences.
• Collaborate in a close-knit team environment.
• Solicit and openly embrace feedback and direction.
• Always be thinking and planning for the next gameplay idea that players will love!

Requirements

• 3+ game design experience
• Ability to design, implement, and tune systems, combat, or content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Appreciative of the incredible value of diversity, as we deliver for gamers worldwide.
• A passion for playing and making games!
