Director Event Marketing

At Vacatia, we create unforgettable vacation experiences for our guests and owners—and our events are at the heart of it. We’re looking for a Director of Event Marketing to lead, inspire, and scale our event programs across resorts, roadshows, and off-property activations.

• Lead, mentor, and manage Site Event Managers and Event Coordinators/Planners across all markets.
• Develop and execute a company‑wide events strategy aligned with sales, tours, and brand goals.
• Oversee planning, logistics, and execution of on‑site and off‑site events, including roadshows.
• Manage budgets, performance metrics, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, and resort operations to drive results and brand consistency.
• Foster a high‑performance team culture focused on innovation, guest experience, and results.

• 3+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality, or promotions, including 1 year leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Strong strategic planning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and vendor negotiation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly across company markets.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and professional in demeanor.
• Prior event sales experience in the Vacation Ownership industry preferred.
