Role Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced, motivated and hard-working individual to join our venues team here at Run Through! As a team, we strive to be excellent at what we do and have fun whilst doing so. We are always on the lookout for development opportunities, moments to grow, while helping our staff reach their potential.

We are looking for a candidate to manage and support the delivery of cutting-edge and professional mass-participation running events. You’ll be involved in day-to-day event management which will include, but not be restricted to, event planning, venue management, and ensuring high-standards are maintained in relation to the preparation and delivery of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with venues, councils, traffic management contractors, etc.
  • Project management of events and ensuring the delivery of them within budgets
  • Create and update event management plans and risk assessments
  • Complete relevant event applications, e.g. road closure applications
  • Lead the event village team on event days, ensuring that stands and equipment are correctly set up and packed down
  • Assist with the line management of a small team of Operations staff.
What We’re Looking For
  • Passionate about physical activity and running
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
  • Full UK manual driving licence and willing to drive vans
  • Previous line management experience
  • Ability to work independently and remotely during the week
  • Willing to work weekends: early start, early finish
  • Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
  • Knowledge of the U.K running industry.
