the RoleAs a Structural Revit Technician / RC Detailer, you will play a key role in producing high-quality BIM models and detailed structural drawings for a wide range of building structure projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and wider project teams to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of design information.Typical Responsibilities Include:
- Producing detailed 3D models using Revit and 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD for a variety of building structures.
- Preparing and detailing reinforced concrete (RC) drawings, schedules, and general arrangements.
- Working collaboratively with structural engineers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinating models with architectural and MEP teams, ensuring clash-free design outputs.
- Maintaining drawing standards, templates, and BIM protocols in line with company and industry standards.
- Assisting in the development of project documentation and contributing to design reviews.
- Supporting junior technicians where required and playing an active role within the design team.
- RC-framed multi-storey developments (hotels, residential, student accommodation)
- National out-of-town retail schemes
- Custodial and secure government-led projects
- Commercial and mixed-use schemes
- Major hospital developments and extension programmes
- Strong experience using Revit and AutoCAD within a structural consultancy environment.
- Proven reinforced concrete detailing experience (RC detailing & scheduling).
- Understanding of BIM processes and common data environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and wider design teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
