Automation & Control Field Engineer

Overview

Looking to grow your engineering career with a global leader in energy management and automation? We’re hiring a Junior Automation & Control Field Engineer to join Schneider Electric Services in the North West. This entry level opportunity is aimed at junior engineers with hands-on experience who want to build technical and customer relationships while shadowing an experienced engineer. You’ll support the commissioning and maintenance of low and medium voltage variable speed drives (LV & MV VSDs) across major customer sites.

You’ll be based within one hour of the Warrington office and spend most time visiting customer sites across the North West and Midlands.

This is not a graduate scheme. We’re looking for someone who has completed a recognised apprenticeship and has 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience as a technician or craftsperson. Someone with the right base who wants to grow further.

Location:

North West UK region (travel to customer sites across the North West and Midlands). A company car and home working flexibility are available when not on site.
