Duties

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition
Functional Area
and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
* You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
* In accordance with the presidential action of 20 January 2025, recruiting for a remote position(s) is not an option/available Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
* Problem Solving-Identifies and analyzes problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions. Critically evaluates to identify the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders.
* Electrical Engineering Design-Knowledge of applying electrical theories, principles, practical concepts, processes, and systems related to the properties of matter and energy in the investigation of electrical phenomena; electrical circuits, circuit elements, equipment, and systems; traditional engineering science disciplines (e.g., mechanical, chemical, and civil) and physical science disciplines (e.g., chemistry and physics); and advanced mathematics, computer science, and economics.
* Engineering Project Management-Applies principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing engineering projects and resources, including technical performance.
