Electrical Engineer; Remote

Position: Electrical Engineer (Remote)
Insight Global's customer in the Material Handling Industry is searching for Electrical Engineers to join their teams on a remote basis as a full-time employee.
These individuals will:
Partner with project leads to develop schematic drawing sets based on project specifications.
Design system layouts, network diagrams, and installation details.
Prepare schematics and panel layouts for control panel fabrication.
Generate bills of material for panels.
Coordinate procurement of field materials and panels.
Print, plot, and assemble drawing sets for electrician bids, stamping, and field installation.
Identify and implement automation tools to enhance departmental efficiency.
Update drawings to reflect "as-built" status upon project completion.
Actively contribute to team objectives and collaborative efforts.

Required Skills & Experience

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience designing industrial controls in a CAD environment.
Strong understanding of control systems and controllers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Electrical Panel Design
Project Leadership experience
