We're looking for a skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to support technical consultancy projects, specialising in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), vibration assessment, steel frame design, and explicit dynamics simulations.

• £50,000 salary
• Hybrid role: remote working with occasional presence around East Kilbride
• Work on high-profile engineering projects across multiple industries
• Apply expertise in FEA, vibration, steel structures, and dynamic impact analysis

• Conduct FEA simulations for static, dynamic, seismic, and vibration analyses
• Develop and validate steel support frames and rigid fixtures
• Perform explicit dynamic simulations using Ansys LS-DYNA
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams on high-integrity projects
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and project standards

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Structural, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of FEA experience in consulting or industrial environments
• Proficiency in ANSYS and LS-DYNA, with strong knowledge of structural mechanics and material behaviour
• Familiarity with vibration testing, steel frame design, and dynamic/impact analysis
• Security clearance eligibility (UK SC level)
• CFD experience is a plus
