- Plan and conduct environmental compliance and management system audits across U.S. operations, applying established protocols and regulatory requirements
- Assess air, water, waste, chemical management, and related regulatory programs using environmental subject‑matter expertise
- Prepare clear, objective audit reports and ensure timely distribution to business partners and leadership
- Collaborate with audit program managers and environmental SMEs to maintain and enhance audit protocols
- Evaluate documentation, conduct interviews, and perform on‑site verification to assess compliance and risk
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related environmental field
- Minimum of five (5) years of environmental compliance, auditing, or permitting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical industry environments
- Strong knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulatory programs
- Prior auditing experience (internal, external, or third‑party)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Share Point
- 7+ years of environmental experience
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or other environmental auditing certifications
- Experience analyzing large data sets, including the use of pivot tables or similar tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet audit deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report development
