We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Car Parts CAD Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) to create precise, innovative designs for custom automotive parts, from body kits and suspension components to interior/exterior components. You’ll collaborate with our Lead manufacturing and design teams to turn client visions into manufacturable realities, ensuring all designs meet safety standards, performance requirements, and aesthetic goals.

- Develop detailed CAD models and technical drawings for custom parts using software such as Solid Works, Fusion
360. - Collaborate with clients, designers, and fabricators to refine designs based on specifications, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
- Perform simulations and analyses (e.g., stress testing, aerodynamics) to optimize part performance and durability.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, including SAE, ISO, and vehicle safety regulations.
- Prototype and iterate designs using 3D printing or CNC machining for rapid testing.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), assembly instructions, and revision histories.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in automotive design, such as lightweight materials and trends.
- Support production teams during the manufacturing phase to troubleshoot and refine designs as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the automotive or custom manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Fusion 360) and familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, metal fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
- Knowledge of automotive systems, mechanics and ergonomics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with custom or aftermarket automotive parts design (e.g., performance parts, drawing and rendering interpretation).
- Certification in CAD tools or relevant engineering software.
- Portfolio showcasing previous CAD projects in parts customization.
- Familiarity with CAM software for seamless design-to-manufacturing transitions.
