Technical Sales Engineer – Hygienic Process Systems
U.S. West Coast (Hybrid) – Client-based travel
Qualtech is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to help shape and secure turnkey fluid process projects across the food & dairy industry.
This role sits where process expertise meets client strategy: defining system scopes, guiding technical discussions, and aligning commercial vision with execution reality.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Lead technical conversations with food & dairy processors
- Translate plant challenges into integrated system concepts
- Collaborate with engineering, automation, and fabrication teams
- Develop proposals and support turnkey negotiations
- Ensure alignment from early feasibility through project handoff
You won’t just be selling; you’ll help define complete process solutions.
Exposure to:
- Turnkey hygienic systems
- Technical-commercial leadership
- Capital project advisory influence
- Ownership of major client relationships and overall concepts.
5+ years in process systems, commissioning, plant operations, or technical sales in food & beverage or dairy.
Strong understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, and hygienic design environments.
Join a multidisciplinary team delivering turnkey industrial systems across North America.
While the main office is located in Petaluma, CA, we welcome candidates across the West Coast and Central USA to apply, as this is a hybrid position. Travel occurs primarily for client meetings, plant assessments, technical workshops, and project development discussions, and is balanced with office-based collaboration and remote work.
