Marine Engineer - Offshore Industry - 6 Month Contract - Rotterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)
My client are a leading engineering consultancy operating in the offshore industry in the Netherlands. They are currently searching for a Marine Engineer on a freelance basis to support there clients with the modelling, scripting, and reporting for cable/heavy lift installations offshore.
In the role you would be working with Orcaflex software, to perform the modelling, before scripting with the python programming language to create the simulations, from these analysis reports will need to be created.
The role will be a hybrid function, with 2 days from the office in Rotterdam and 3 days working from home.
What essential is needed?
Engineering Background:
Offshore, Naval architecture, Marine, Civil or equivalent
Experience working with Orcaflex software
What makes your standout?
Experience in the Offshore industry
Knowledge of Offshore standards e.g., NORSOK
Contract:
6 Months
Hours:
32-40 / week
