- Plan and conduct environmental compliance and management system audits across U.S. operations
- Assess air, water, waste, chemical management, and related regulatory programs using environmental subject‑matter expertise
- Prepare clear and objective audit reports for distribution to business partners and leadership
- Collaborate with the audit program manager and environmental SMEs to enhance audit protocols
- Evaluate documentation and conduct interviews to assess compliance and risk
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Five (5) years of experience in environmental compliance, auditing, or permitting in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of EPA and state environmental regulatory programs
- Prior auditing experience (internal, external, or third‑party)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Share Point
- 7+ years of environmental experience
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or other environmental auditing certifications
- Experience analyzing large data sets and using tools like pivot tables
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report development
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet audit deadlines
