What You’ll Do- Develop, manage, and refine BIM models for mechanical systems
—including industrial piping, HVAC systems, and high‑purity installations. - Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into overall building models.
- Perform clash detection and lead resolution efforts across disciplines using tools such as Revit and Navisworks
. - Produce construction documents, fabrication‑ready shop drawings, and installation details directly from BIM models.
- Maintain and enforce BIM standards, workflows, and best practices aligned with a design‑build delivery approach.
- Provide 3D visualizations
, technical modeling support, and constructability insights throughout all project phases. - Train and mentor team members to elevate BIM capabilities across the organization.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical modeling.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems: piping, HVAC, high‑purity process systems, and utilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills—comfortable partnering with engineers, contractors, and clients.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
, Construction Management
, or related field — or equivalent hands‑on experience. - 2–5 years of BIM experience in mechanical contracting, industrial piping, HVAC, or related environments.
- Experience with fabrication software (CADmep or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with point clouds, model conversions, and advanced BIM workflows is beneficial.
This role offers a flexible work setup, combining remote work with occasional on‑site visits to support coordination and field needs.

Optional experience with AutoCAD Fabrication CADmep 2024 and Point Cloud Handling is highly valued.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
