Energy Management/ Efficiency, Operations Manager
A growing renewable energy IPP is looking to appoint a Technical Asset Manager to oversee the operational phase of its solar and battery storage portfolio.
The business develops, acquires and operates photovoltaic and energy storage projects across Germany. With an integrated model covering development through to long-term operations, the company is continuing to scale its asset base and internal capabilities.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of operational assets while contributing to the development of internal technical standards and processes within a lean, entrepreneurial structure.
Key Responsibilities:- Serve as the technical point of contact for internal stakeholders across development, finance and commercial functions
- Manage relationships with external partners including O&M providers, grid operators, insurers and authorities
- Monitor asset performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety and contractual standards
- Take responsibility for further developing and optimising performance monitoring tools and reporting dashboards to enhance transparency and operational efficiency
- Conduct regular site inspections and oversee O&M activities
- Support warranty claims, defect management and insurance cases
- Support the optimisation and standardisation of internal technical processes and tools
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical asset management within renewable energy or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience managing operational PV assets, storage experience advantageous
- Experience in contract management and managing service providers
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy or comparable qualification
- Fluent German, written and spoken.
