Are you a detail-oriented Traffic Engineer looking to make a tangible impact on Maryland’s infrastructure? We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team.
This role offers a unique professional vista point: you will work independently on high-priority traffic engineering designs and may have the opportunity to work directly on-site with our client, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA).

Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee traffic engineering designs and plan development.
- Utilize Micro Station to create precise, standards-compliant engineering plans.
- Work independently to manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with client teams (MDOT SHA) to ensure project alignment and safety standards.
- Maintain a high level of technical accuracy in all traffic-related calculations and designs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Certification: Must possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in traffic engineering design.
- Technical Skill: Proven proficiency in Micro Station for plan development.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- A Maryland Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Prior experience working on MDOT or SHA-specific projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Maryland-specific traffic standards and regulations.
