Sales Engineer; Robotics and Automation - Louisville, KY, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio

From our location in Somerset, Kentucky, we develop automated applications for regional manufacturers.

We are adding a sales engineer to facilitate sales growth for the Louisville, KY, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio region.

• Build new customer relationships
• Identify business opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to generate leads
• Make customer visits to facilitate sales
• Improve and maintain CRM
• Professionally demonstrate Chism Automation’s capability and scope
• Document and understand customer needs
• Gather information and solutions to provide to applications engineer for quote preparation
• Effectively communicate with customers, account managers, and application engineers
• Ability to travel up to 80% within region. Remainder of time is home based.

• 2 years of automation sales experience
• Strong technical skills (Preferred Engineering or Sales Engineering background)
• Positive attitude and demeanor
