Senior IT Project Manager

Overview

Technical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including:

• Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports; conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
• Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
• Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
• On some projects, where applicable, managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracking & reviewing vendor deliverables

Responsibilities typically include:

• Managing larger and more complex projects than a Project Manager and overseeing a higher number of projects
• Working with senior leadership to solve problems as they arise within the project
• Managing projects/processes independently with limited supervision
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals
• Addressing difficult and sometimes complex problems

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree (Required)
• 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required)
• Experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree

• Relevant professional certification required (e.g., PPM, PgMP, ACP, etc.)

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience required
