Salesforce Development Lead - Onshore & Offshore teams - Remote Working

I’m partnered with a high‑growth technology group building customer‑facing digital products used across the automotive industry. We are looking for exceptional talent, especially those who’ve led onshore, offshore and nearshore Salesforce engineering teams
.

They’re scaling their platform and strengthening engineering governance across both internal squads and external delivery partners, and they’re looking for someone who can bring real leadership, technical depth, and structure to their Salesforce landscape.

You’ll be working helping shape modern engineering practices, uplift quality, and ensure their products meet high standards for security, observability and performance.

You’ll lead engineering across a suite of products, guiding teams on Apex best practice, LWC architecture, async patterns, design standards and scalable data modelling. Expect to work closely with internal and third‑party engineering partners, set best‑practice across distributed teams, influence architecture, and communicate technical debt and priorities to Product leadership.

There’s huge scope to shape how the organisation approaches Salesforce engineering — from code quality → security → ways of working → talent growth.

• Leadership of distributed teams (onshore/offshore/nearshore)
• Experience guiding mid→senior engineers and leading complex technical initiatives
• Exposure to AWS (Lambda, Fargate, SQS, Dynamo
  
  DB) is a bonus
• Off‑platform experience (Java/Go/etc.) is beneficial
• Strong understanding of secure development practices
