Position: CAD / Asset Technician

With a strong focus on digital transformation, they work within cutting-edge BIM and Digital Twin technologies, supporting a dynamic team dedicated to estate optimisation, compliance, and sustainability. As part of a large, reputable organisation, you'll collaborate with professionals across various functions and contribute to impactful national initiatives. About you Recognised qualification in AutoCAD (preferably within built environment) Experience creating and managing complex 2D CAD drawings Solid understanding of CAD standards, quality assurance, and BIM processes (Level 2 preferred) Proficiency in MS Excel for handling large datasets Strong eye for detail, organised, and methodical in your approach Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake site visits What you'll do Maintain accurate and up-to-date 2D CAD drawings aligned with standards Support the development and maintenance of 3D BIM models and Digital Twins Work with survey data, point clouds, and scanned surveys to build precise digital representations Manage asset data within CAFM systems, ensuring reliability of asset registers and space data Assist in integrating survey outputs and environmental data into digital estate systems Participate in site visits to validate building layouts and asset information Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data supporting estate planning and transformation projects Contribute to compliance, lifecycle analysis, and digital reporting initiatives For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
