Part-Time Student - Engine Performance Analyst - Waterloo, IA - Remote

• Assist in developing engine model capabilities, methodologies, processes, and tools
• Provide support to engine development programs by conducting performance analysis simulations and optimization tasks
• Assist in developing model test protocols, calibration procedures, and analysis methodologies
• Support model architecture and workflow processes throughout engine engineering
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met efficiently

• Completed coursework in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, dynamics, heat transfer, experimentation, and measurement
• At least 50% of required credit hours completed toward an engineering degree
• Proficiency with standard engineering software, including Matlab
• Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college/university
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above

• Experience with GT-Power/GT-Suite software
• Completed coursework in internal combustion engines
• Engineering experience with internal combustion engines
• Attention to detail and accuracy in technical tasks
• Bachelor of Science engineering degree or higher
