This full-time hybrid role as a Retrieval Technician is based in Spring, Texas, with the flexibility for some work-from-home opportunities. The Retrieval Technician will be responsible for executing complex tasks, including the operational setup, utilization, and maintenance of retrieval tools and monitoring equipment. Key tasks include ensuring the proper installation and retrieval of structural integrity monitoring equipment, maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards, and performing data collection and logging.
The Retrieval Technician will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that client requirements are met efficiently and effectively while adhering to Axess' high standards for service and product delivery.
- Technical proficiency in handling and maintaining mechanical and hydraulic high-pressure access systems, retrieval tools, and monitoring instruments.
- Strong understanding of corrosion management practices, including data retrieval, chemical optimization, and performance evaluations.
- Skill in performing system audits, commissioning, and maintenance while adhering to industry safety standards and regulations.
- Knowledge in technical documentation, reporting, and usage of data loggers and monitoring analytics tools.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams and clients.
- Certification related to mechanical or chemical engineering or equivalent technical background preferred.
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas industry or with corrosion monitoring systems is an advantage but not required.
