OT Solution Specialists

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven OT Solution Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will design, implement, and support Operational Technology (OT) solutions that enhance industrial system performance, cybersecurity posture, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in industrial automation, control systems, network integration, and OT cybersecurity. This role requires technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, IT, and operations teams in a fully remote environment.

• Design and deploy OT solutions across industrial environments (manufacturing, energy, utilities, or infrastructure)
• Integrate PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS platforms, and industrial networks
• Assess and improve OT system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity controls
• Support digital transformation initiatives including IIoT and Industry 4.0 implementations
• Conduct system architecture reviews and recommend optimization strategies
• Troubleshoot complex OT system issues and provide technical resolution
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure IT/OT convergence
• Develop technical documentation, system diagrams, and implementation plans
• Support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Participate in remote project planning, implementation, and lifecycle support

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in Operational Technology, industrial automation, or control systems
• Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.)
• Experience with SCADA/DCS platforms
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (Modbus, OPC, Profinet, Ether Net/IP, etc.)
• Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  
  Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)

• Experience with OT security frameworks (NIST, ISA/IEC 62443)
• Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring and remote access solutions
• Experience supporting critical infrastructure environments
• Certifications in cybersecurity, networking, or automation (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, GICSP)
• Prior experience in remote or distributed engineering teams
