Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineering Coordinator with expertise in Revit to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will coordinate delegated design projects, manage the workflow of design tasks, and ensure the successful execution of projects. You will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver engineering submittals and REVIT models.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate delegated design projects with our engineering team from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed designs and models using Revit, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction teams, to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions.
- Review and verify mechanical drawings and models for accuracy, compliance with codes, and adherence to client specifications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of engineering standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to our sales engineering team.
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates on design progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and revisions.
- 1-3 years of experience in MEP design
- Proficiency in Revit, with an understanding of MEP systems
- Experience with other design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Solidworks, Excel, and other similar software
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus, but not required.
