EM Pump Design Engineer - Remote​/Telecommute

Job Description:

• The EM Pump Design Engineer will support the review, design, analysis, and validation of electromagnetic pump systems, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and compliance with engineering standards.

• Perform reviews of electromagnetic pump drawings with manufacturers to ensure the design meets performance requirements and is manufacturable.
• Review analysis of electromagnetic pump models and simulation results.
• Manage time effectively to deliver high-quality work within project timelines and budgeted hours.
• Communicate status updates and progress of work activities to leadership.
• Identify and manage project execution risks.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or another engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated ability and proficiency in the design of electromagnetic pumps.
• At least 2 years of experience with sodium fast reactors.
• 5+ years of experience with mechanical design and manufacturing of electromagnetic pumps.

• Experience working on project-based assignments with schedule and time constraints.
• Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results within scope, schedule, and cost targets.
• Knowledge or experience in the nuclear industry.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and utilize Inventor to determine component dimensions, features, interfaces, masses, and stiffnesses.
