Are you ready to be at the forefront of land development projects in New Jersey? We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Civil Site Design to join an innovative engineering team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the built environment through your expertise and leadership.
What We Are Looking For
- A valid NJ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain one is required. Candidates should have at least an Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification.
- 5-10+ years of comprehensive experience in civil/site design.
- Extensive knowledge in New Jersey land development, including stormwater management, grading, erosion and sediment control, and utilities.
- Experience with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and municipal agency permitting processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro
CAD, or equivalent stormwater design tools. - Strong communication skills, with an unwavering commitment to quality and accountability.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach, balanced with the capability to work independently.
- Lead and design diverse land development projects, including multi-use, residential, commercial, and institutional, from concept to final approval.
- Navigate the local municipal approval process, ensuring efficient coordination and timely submissions.
- Develop comprehensive site designs, including stormwater systems, grading, erosion and sediment control plans, utility layouts, and conduct regulatory research.
- Prepare concept plans, detailed site plans, subdivision plans, engineering reports, and stormwater management documentation.
- Act as the primary point of contact, maintaining communication with clients, contractors, sub-consultants, and team members.
