Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and understanding of the Enchanted Rock generators, with a strong focus on mechanical design, IC engine design and performance.
• Implement engineering change requests in Solid Works 3D and 2D drawing under guidance from senior team members.
• Measurement and/or inspection of parts for root-cause- analysis (RCA) studies.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing, testing, inspection, and performance evaluation/ diagnostics under guidance from senior team members.
• Data gathering and analysis of IC engine and generator performance under guidance from senior team members.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding component specifications and design.
• Understand cross-functionality between teams in the organization.
• Attention to safety and its critical importance in the work environment.
• Other tasks as identified by senior team members.

Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET recognized program.
• Demonstrated experience of working in a team environment.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

• Communicates well with colleagues and customers, effectively and professionally.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute.
• Strong drive to problem-solve on daily basis and proactive brainstorming.
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills and how to apply to decision-making

This is a paid, temporary summer internship. Conversion to full-time employment is not guaranteed and will be evaluated based on intern performance, business needs, and open positions at the conclusion of the program.

This position will report to the Integration Manager and will last for the duration of June-August 2026. Interns are required to be eligible to work full-time (40 hours). It is based out of our Production & Engineering facility in Cypress, Texas.

Salary Description
