Selectek has partnered with a company in Chapel Hill, NC who is actively looking to hire a Survey Cad Technician for a staff position.
The position offer an 80% work from home schedule
Pay is dependent on experience and estimated at $55K-$73K, plus 100% paid employee benefits.
Key Services Expectations:
- Perform and compile as-builts for utilities, SCM's, foundations, and other site improvements.
- Perform 2D and 3D drafting, primarily utilizing Carlson, Trimble Business Center, and Autodesk Civil 3D software
- Convert Field Data from Boundary Surveys.
- Topographic Surface Models
- Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects
- 2+ years of progressive experience and knowledge with Carlson and Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of land survey and construction layout principles and CAD drafting techniques
- Willingness and ability to periodically work in the field alongside survey crews.
- Ability to prioritize with respect to projects, CAD standard, etc. on a daily basis
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Trimble Business Center
