Exciting role on offer for a Hot Rolled Detailer to join an innovative construction company who specialise in light steel framing.

On offer is the chance to join a market leading steel construction fabrication company that allows you to make a difference to projects as well as carving out your career long term.

This company are an award-winning, niche construction company who specialise in innovative light steel frame solutions. They work on a range of projects including mixed use buildings, student accommodation and Ministry of Defence. They have a busy year ahead with lots of projects recently won for 2026, so they are now looking for a Hot Rolled Detailer to join the team.

In this hybrid role, you will be required to prepare accurate 3D models, shop drawings and part lists for fabrication in software such as Revit or Advanced Steel. You will be expected to understand fabrication standards, consider constructability, and ensure the drawing you prepare are clear to understand.

You will liaise closely with Structural Engineers and Senior Detailers or Designers to coordinate design intent, resolve technical queries, incorporate engineering calculations and details into hot rolled steel designs.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Revit, AutoCAD and Advanced Steel and will have previous experience in a similar design related role. You will be able to work accurately and competently, whilst having a solutions-focused approach.

The Role:

* Salary £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

* Prepare accurate 3D models for fabrication

* Hot rolled steel designs

* Use of Revit, Advanced Steel, Tekla and Stru Cad

* Liaise closely with Structural Engineers, Senior Detailers and Designers

* Hybrid role, 3 days in office 2 days from home

The Person :

* Experience in a similar construction related role

* Software experience in Revit, AutoCAD and Advanced Steel

* Excellent communication skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail

* Working accurately and competently with a solutions-focused approach

* Live in commutable distance to Stroud
