We are seeking an exceptional Senior Energy Storage Engineer to join their dynamic team and lead large-scale energy storage projects from conception to completion. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge battery storage systems and make a significant impact in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design phase and engineer major components for utility-scale energy storage projects
- Review and optimize engineering drawings for design quality and efficiency
- Identify and resolve technical issues in engineering studies
- Prepare detailed technical scopes of work for major contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and influence engineering decisions
- Manage project milestones and proactively identify risks
- Work closely with equipment suppliers and integrate major systems
- Navigate permitting requirements and propose solutions to regulatory challenges
- Support projects through full lifecycle from planning to commissioning
- 15+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction
- Deep expertise in power electronics, battery storage system design, or substation design
- Strong knowledge of energy storage technologies including battery chemistries and power conversion
- Familiarity with safety standards: UL1973, UL9540, UL9540A, NFPA 855, NEC
- Experience with IEC standards (61215, 61646, 61730)
- Proven ability to handle complex technical tasks independently
- Excellent communication skills and project management capabilities
